Many demolition companies use the term deconstruction in their name when most of their work and expertise is actually demolition. Demolition is destruction. Dumpsters are filled with destroyed materials, and hauled off to the landfill. It is the standard practice.
OCORO ENTERPRISES is dedicated to deconstruction and sustainable practices. Not a demolition company in disguise, we have over 15 years experience with large and small scale deconstruction projects that include schools and park structures; commercial spaces; historic and modern homes; renovation and preservation, and interior salvage.
Safety, communication and cleanliness are the hallmarks of our work. Saving great materials from the landfill is our mission and profession.
Ocoro Enterprises is a minority-owned business founded in 2008 in North Carolina. We have opened an office in Baltimore and expanded our work to Maryland. See a photo gallery below.
Diverted from the dumpster and removed with expertise to find a new home.
We have taken asphalt roof shingles to be used in roadways. Old lumber has been used for a wetlands walkway in a community park, and also to build structures for the big cats at the Carolina Tiger Rescue—those cats go through some scratching posts!
